Aqaba is ideally situated to grant the visitors access to some of the world’s one-of-a-kind attractions. The striking desert landscape of Wadi Rum and the Nabatean city of Petra, among the World’s Seven Wonders, are a short drive away. - Drive to the marvel of the moon valley: Wadi Rum. Wadi Rum is only 45 minutes away from Aqaba (about 60Km) by road and it is once in a life time experience. Link to Wadi Rum section.
- Walk through the Siq and arrive to the Rose City. Petra is just two hours away from Aqaba (about 130Km) by road and less than 1.5 hours drive from Wadi Rum. Link to Petra section.
- Float in the Dead Sea. In approximately 3 hours you will find yourself in the lowest and most mineral rich body of water on earth (about 300Km away from Aqaba). The density of the water will allow you to float easy on the surface. Spend the day at the Dead Sea: sunbathe, try a full body mud mask, get a world-class massage, and don’t leave before you see the Dead Sea dazzling sunset. Complete you visit to the Dead Sea at the Bethany Beyond the Jordan, which is accepted as the baptism site of Jesus Christ. The site was visited by Pope Benedict XVI and John Paul II.
